Anyone Can Play

The perfect family fun event that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, gender and special needs.

Nine different construction companies and home builders, supported by multiples of business suppliers and landscapers, have each custom built a miniature golf hole sized to approximately 30' in length by 12' wide.

The course layout will feature Holes #1 & #2 in the Harvest Food Court wing; Holes #3 & #4 in the Sears wing; and Holes #5, #6, #7, #8 and #9 will be set up in the Lane Bryant wing.

Playing Schedule: The event will be open for play on weekends during the hours of 6-8 PM (FRIDAYS) and 1-4 PM (SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS) from Jan. 25th - Feb. 24th, 2008. MALL GOLF Event Committee reserves right to change playing hours at The Empire Mall based on activity levels.

Golf Fees: 9-Hole play costs $5.00 per player or you can sample any hole of your choice for a $1 donation to the Mall Golf Charities. Cash or Check accepted forms of payment (make payable: SPECIAL OLYMPICS SOUTH DAKOTA).

Getting Ready to Play: To purchase your 9-Hole Game Card, visit either The Empire Mall "Guest Services" window (center court area in the mall) or at the two MALL GOLF Sales Tables (located in front of HOLE #1 in the Harvest Food Court wing and at the intersection of the Macy's & Lane Bryant wings). After play is complete, bring in your Game Score Card to any of the sales table locations identified above. The Top Scores registered will be published weekly in the Argus Leader.

MALL GOLF Championship Round: The event's nine best players - based on lowest individual scores for 9-Hole play only, will be invited to participate in the MALL GOLF Championship round scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 10:00 AM sponsored by The Empire Mall.

(In case of more than "9" scorers tied for the lead, the event rules committee will choose championship round players at random. All qualifying players must be present to play or forfeit position in the finals).
